Has anyone noticed that Rotella T6 has changed? There are some new requirements for diesel motor oil and T6 is changing along with them. I noticed a VOA on the internet a few days ago of the new formula (which I can't find now) and the Zn and P has been reduced.

I'd love to know this as well. I know the packaging has changed. I liked Rotella but may stick with Motul 8100 X-cess again. Anyone have any info?

It has changed, there is less zinc and other things as mentioned above, it's all over many forums that is worse than before. Compare the VOA for the new T6 vs the 8100 X-cess and go from there.

I use Motul 300V and would choose 8100 X-cess if that isn't available...

Analysis I've seen of that oil show crazy amounts of additives, to the point that it could be corrosive/detrimental for long term use in street engine. Also it's life cycle is really short, it isn't made to survive being heat cycled over and over like the typical "normal car" oil does.

Went with the Motul 8100 X-cess again. I don't really want to mess with 300V because of the price, shorter intervals, my car is stock, etc.
