Do you know how the center radiator was attached to the duct? Is it riveted into some part of the radiator or radiator bracket? I'm trying to gather all the necessary parts.

correct, the bumper duct is re-riveted to the new CSF rad, 6 new aluminum rivets are the only needed parts (for a GT2 FWIW)

anyone else have their set installed?
mine have been great, datalogged 2 days ago on a HOT 36C degree day, water temps stayed completely stabile at 81-82C even during/after a few good pulls
(Highest recorded temp was 87.8*C, idling after the drive/pulls...GT2's only have 1 rad. fan)
Cheers,

I wonder if the extra cooling these provide reduces the pressure in the cooling system and thus stress on the coolant fittings.

Mine are still in the box. They look great though.

more stabile temps. might help the epoxy by avoiding bigger temperature swings,
pressure should be controlled by the cap (but perhaps....)

Cheers,
Mine still in box(es), 82C is impressive for 36c day

Do you measure these temps through actual values Durametric, I don't recall seeing that value in there ?

Yup measured/logged with Durametric, the value is called 'Engine Temperature', also logged the oil temp values(high of 94C, avg of 91C).
Wish I had bought the Durametric prior to the install to compare with OE, but from what I've seen on the gauge these are much more consistent.

My CSFs are going on the 997GT2 next week.

I haven't been able to do any pre install proper high speed data runs, just a few logged up to 130ish mph. I have however been driving around with the Ultragauge attached and I have been observing the water temperature swings during various types of driving over the last week or so.

The ambient temperature has ranged from 16C to 28C and the water temp ranges from 83C to 89C. (I already have a PWR centre rad)

Is the water temperature controlled by some kind of thermostat since this range seems very constant especially with the wide variation in ambient - if it is then it will be quite difficult to spot the improvement from the CSF but I guess if it stays at the lower (ie 83C) end of the scale then they are doing a better job.

I was a little disappointed to notice that the CSF box had "made in Indonesia" on it, probably irrationally but I was kind of hoping they were manufactured in the US as seems to be represented in all their blurb

Side rads are on, did some "testing" - no difference in water temp at all, varies from 84C to 88C (22c ambient)
Disappointed ? not really, I didn't expect to see a difference, maybe it is only in extremes that the rad set up will make a difference.

Think the only way you will see any significance in temp drop is to increase flow. The radiator by itself will not. there will maybe only a difference from idle to when running and temp drop time. If we had the option to higher flow water pumps in combination with these radiators, I would venture to say you would see a temp drop,

Likely seeing the thermostat thereshold at ~80C
Hard use should show the difference, I found hard-runs then stopped idling were when the stock rads couldn't shed heat quick enough and would seeing the gauge move a bit...CSF's have been much more consistent with 'requested' temps

Heat exchanger efficiency definitely plays a role, be it radiators, intercoolers, or fluid-fluid coolers.
