SpawnyWhippet , just found some interesting informations about the ABS hydraulic unit. Your part numbers are not similar with the ones mention in the repair manual but , I think it is important, there is a mention about the combination hydraulic unit/rate−of−turn sensor!!! Just for your information interesting reading on page 784 to 787….

I only have the Bentleys manual, are you referring to the Porsche workshop manuals? I don't have access to a set.

Another avenue is to check properly the wire bundle from each wheel abs sensor. It is important to know the continuity check is not enough to troubleshoot your wiring. The ABS is looking at resistance! If per example the wiring is rubbing or cracking somewhere you still get continuity but the resistance is lower that will trigger a message. Lately I've read about many problem involving the abs wires that cracked and you can buy new one…Take a look at this interesting thread: http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/9...already-8.html
