I get complements all the time on my catless 3.0X competition. Best money I've spent so far but it's definitely not for everyone, especially catless.

Here is another 3.0 X-Pipe with cats video - it's a world of difference from the 2.5 quiet. Both sound fantastic for their intended sound goal.

What is the main difference between the 200 cell vs the 100 cell?

There is a huge difference in throttle response and turbo spool. The 100's drive so much better and sound better, too. Personally, I would not run 200's on the 996TT. 100cpi is the way to go for sure...

They work great on the non turbo, but CEL often appears with 100 cell cats on the non turbo 996 only, unless tuned for them.

This is speedtech 3" x pipe cold start.
It sounds great, no drone and excellent craftsmanship.

For anyone is interested...we have an extra 2.5 "quiet" with 100 cell cats just completed and ready to go without any build time! This is our most popular selling model. Sport quiet at light/easy, even moderate throttle, yet wakes up nicely at WOT. Very refined and tasteful sound. This is an extremely comfortable system for someone that wants a nice sound improvement without attracting a lot of attention due to an overly loud aftermarket exhaust. It adds a respectable degree of sportiness to the 996TT without being over the top loud...Rennlist Member discount available.

I love the look of your stuff! its just out of my price range 2.7k for an exhaust is just too much for me to justify, I wish I could though they look and sound awesome.

Hi John,

does the high flow intake plenum (hard pipe kit) require engine/trans. to be dropped for install?

Hi Rich,

Ideally, transmission out, but not absolutely required. We have had customers do it in a garage with the car up on blocks and the motor mounts loosened to gain a few inches. It's not an easy job, but it is doable and has been done that way, so it's possible. It's best tackled with a lift and motor mounts loosened and allowing about 4-5 hours installation time.
