I practised getting the tail out on a greasy road.

Cheers Ben

Had my mechanic replace the second gear and syncro rings which were grinding when I downshifted from 3rd, then asked him to put in a short shift kit while he was in there. Picking up the car tomorrow- can't wait to play with the new short shifter!

Question PCM2 System error: amplifier, CD Changer not available

Looking for ideas, suggestions on this one...

Discovered the mysterious complexity of the PCM in my 2004 TT. Give me a multi-dimensional database over this system any day.

Getting a System Error: amplifier, CD changer not available

Using an updated Version 3 PCM OS. Radio functional but no sound except for the faint pop on power-up.

I've heard about MOST rings, (fiber optic network in a token-ring configuration?) My Durametrics says
9114 control unit Status" not present.

So what does that mean?

Sounds like a handshake problem, but how to resolve without going to P hell (Porsche dealer)

HELP!!!!

Drift

Drove it to the dealer, and they have spent the entire day trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with it.....but, took a new 911 out for a test drive......I can't remember the acronym, but that cornering vector acme thrust procedure just screams.

Drove it.

Left it dirty.

Drove it again.

Wiped off the wheels, but otherwise left the rest of the dirt...it looks good and shows the road love.

(all fluids and wear items are very, very fresh...I keep this car better than new always if possible...SRF, etc.)

Not today, but monday taking it in to NJ indie for its 30k service, despite having only 23k. (Its a 2004, like to get the original plugs out!)

Changing - plugs, coil packs, oil, fuel/air filters, MAF, coolant, brake fluid, O2 sensors. Its running great as is - wondering if Ill notice any diifference with all the new equipment.

Does Porsche recommend a time interval change for the plugs?
