Will 19" rims fit on a lowered 996tt
I have a 996tt with eibach springs (lowered 1.5" from stock). I was thinking about putting 19" rims on the car and was wondering if they would fit without rubbing? I would be buying the rims off ebay and so I can't test them out ahead of time. Does anyone have a similar setup and does it work well.
Thanks
Thanks

I have the CaymanS for sale and will be purchasing a 2001 or 2002 996TT and plan on lowering it and putting 19's on. Does anybody know how much the H&R's lower a 996TT?

if you purchase your wheels from a reputable mfgr you should have no rubbing issues. contrary to what people have said you have less chance of fender rubbing on the rears if you have a lowered suspension.

true, but if you get wheels with an agressive offset, like techarts, and you lower the car 1.5 inches, you are risking the rear wheels hitting the fenders when the suspension compresses.

What model spec wheels are those? They look great!

cpu77, thanks for the compliments those are my old HRE 843's in 19" brush center. new member LGaucho has taken them off my hands. I miss those wheels. Pics really don't do justice to those wheels. The rare 11 spoke layout.

You are more likely to have front rubbing problems than rear.
sometimes the fronts can rub slightly on the radiator hoses, etc.
My 245 front Hoosiers run slightly with stock wheels.
Rears: My buddy Steve Beddor has his RUF CTR2 Sport lowered so much you can
pinch a penny between fender and rear slick and it DOES NOT RUB (it is that OAKY
rear suspension articulation thingy at work!)
