Windshield/Headlight Washer Tank and Plumbing Removal
Hey guys. I decided this weekend to remove my windshield/headlight washer tank and plumbing and now of course have a light on for refill of the tank. Does anyone with a durametric or PIWIS know if this can be coded out? I have never ever used the system throughout the whole ownership and it's just extra weight over the wheel and complication at this point...but don't want the light. Thanks ahead of time!

Just use a jumper wire to connect the 2 sides of the wiring harness that goes to level sensor together is how I did it, I think. Really easy just complete the circuit and no more light.

I did this few weeks ago! Just remove the sensor from the tank, plug it back in to the harness, and tape the little floating arm of the sensor closed and viola, system is tricked into thinking the tank is full!
