Default The Definitive Color Thread for PCNA/PCL Mkt 2002 - 2005 996 GT2

The colors of the 996 GT2 show much greater variety when compared to the 996 GT3. I would put this down to many more individual orders (in terms of percentage) vs the GT3. At a much higher price point I doubt there were many dealers ordering these for the showroom floor.

At some point I will try and split these by year, interior and PCNA/PCL market.

Carl, can you break it up by year? Or at least 2002-2003 and 2004-2005?

Hello, see our 996GT2 in Guards red with a special ordered full leather interior in cognac color, with only original 4.100 km ( 2.550 miles) from new, one owner!

The GT2 was in a collection of the Royal Family of Bahrain and was driven mostly in a garage on a rolling road dynamometer and not on the street to avoid storage damages. This is the reason why this GT2 is still like fabric new, without any stone chips or scratches or dents, simply like new. Even the wheels are without any scratches. This GT2 was never painted, the whole car is original paint. The whole car is without signs of usage!

Kind regards

Fantastic info.

There was an alleged 'Grand Prix White' GT2 advertised a while back at a broker. I don't recall VIN or know if the paint code was actually PTS.

I don't know why it was advertised as such at the time. It is Carrara White.

I can contribute with a Euro spec 01 Biarritz white GT2 (not the Canadian car from BAT)

31k mile
Some of the factory options:
Euro Buckets
PCCB
Yellow belts
body color wheels from factory
carbon Interior

Default Zanzibar 2002 Gt2

Nelson Ledges 2005

Our Zanzibar 2002 Gt2 was originally ordered by my father for his 62nd birthday in 2002. He drove it to 20k miles before his passing in 2014. I still have his car and currently with about 23k on the odometer. Wonderful automobile, very analog and very involved driving experience. I love it and for me it's a forever car.
I'd love to know more stats of the 996 Gt2 cars out there.

is this the Zanzibar gt2 from the YouTube video? I believe it might have been a PCA spotlight video or something similar…
