With 50K track miles, yes, it's been rebuilt twice. No wear on pistons & liners after 85K miles on the original engine. Replacement Capricorn pistons & liners didn't last & were replaced by Porsche parts for the 3rd rebuild @ 131K miles

It's had 3 new clutches but is still on the original driveshafts & rear wheel bearings. Other than 1 bearing in the gearbox, that's also original.

Over 500 laps on the 'ring, over 2,000 at Spa etc. It's a well-used car doing what it was designed for. Sadly one of a diminishingly small number these days. Roll on 200K miles!

Off to Spa in a week for 2 days on track, back to the UK for 10 days & then back to the Nurburgring for a trackday. Should be closing in on 150K after that lot. Spa will be its 200th trackday.

Seeing some of the others I feel better that mine isn't the highest mileage one in NA.

124K daily driven miles.

This completely awesome.

Not to be Debbie downer here...but you should REALLY replace the half shafts and rear wheel bearings as preventative at this point. The axles in particular as they create quite a safety hazard if one breaks on the track.

We have a few Ca customers who are turning around 110k and one customer with over 140k on his.

We sold our 03 car with 98k on it...

Great to see owners driving these cars...

UPDATE:
It was always in the plan to replace the driveshafts this year because play was developing in the universal joints so I recently bit the bullet: I changed the shafts & rear wheel bearings (which were still good, if not quite as smooth as the new ones). The car is feeling smother on the transition from over-run to power now so that makes it a bit easier to justify the vast cost of the driveshafts!

The car is now approaching 153K and is currently on a transporter down to Portugal for 3 trackdays in the sun: Estoril, Portimao & Jerez.

You guys have all caught up with me! I had 106k in 2013. Less than 100 miles in the last year! Just posted for sale in classifieds section.
