295 on 12" is really stretched

Sorry I meant 11.5. I don't care for stretch. 245/315 fits really nicely on OEM I find

I'm not a fan of stretch either. There is no stretch with my 9 and 11.5 set up. (PSC2)

They look spot on Luis, can you confirm the rim and tyre sizes you are running for me? Is it exactly as Mooty said on page one? Sorry if I should be able to work it out, I just want to be clear on the best sizes & options....thanks everyone

Yes. Exactly as Mooty stated with stock size Pilot Sport Cup 2's.

Fitment looks perfect Luis, thanks for the pics. It looks like there is still a little room under the front fenders for a 245/40 too (I have some NT01 that I want to burn up).

mark996gt3, I have no experience with these particular wheels but camber does affect wheel fitment, I'm not sure what camber Luis is running in the pics above but most guys tracking their GT3s have somewhere between 2.5 and 4 degrees negative on the front.

Mr Ayo, were these the same wheels and when they were fitted, was there any contact on testing? Or did it only occur at the track day?
I'm running this setup on the front: (from Mooty)
0288120 1.5" and 7.5" barrels 9x18 et 42 with 245

Stock suspension, around -3 camber. Every car is different apparently.

The rears used 1.5" lip and 0288274 face, and whatever barrel size to get to 12. Also was running 5mm spacers.

I've since removed the spacers and went down on the barrel size to get to 11.5 and have no more issues.

Thanks for the pics, I was on the fence over gold vs. silver centers.
I have a set of fresh PS2's in 245/315 for the street that need wheels.

Anyone know if the OZ alleggrita in 18 fit over 380 brakes?
Hopefully someone can chime in no since I got rid of a perfect gunmetal set in GT2 size.

Yep, 245/40 is fine on OEM wheel, rubs the arch liner at full lock but not a big issue.

The offset was your problem, not the 12" width. When you ran the 0288274 centers with a 1.5 lip and a 10.5 barrel, you had offset of ET 74.4mm. A 5mm spacer made it ET 69.4mm. A 12" with at ET 61-64 would have worked. When you swapped the barrel to 10", you ended up with a 11.5" ET 61.7mm wheel which is the correct offset.

^ right on, i didnt realized he ran 274, tnat's not a common center for 996 narrow body, also produces shallow dish outter lip.

So what's the 274 center for? My shop was told repeatedly by BBS that I had a correct setup.

274 is often used for cayman. it can be used for 996, but it's not as common
