need advice re: somewhat stupid question
I'm kind of torn and would love the opinion of the rennlist 6-3 community. I kind of like the "no tint" look on darker 911's because it highlights my favorite design aspect: the rear quarter window. Especially with a black car, this feature kind of gets "lost."
So, leave as is (fairly dark, see avatar), or rip it out like the below pic?
I'm torn because with the rear cage, its going to be a royal pain to re-tint if I decide I like the tint better! On the other hand, seeing the seats, bar, and harnesses through the windows is pretty cool!

Clear all day. I really dislike dark tint on any car let alone a black sports car. Mine is tinted and I hate it, have been meaning to remove it since I've owned the car, need to find someone small enough to fit through the cage to access the rear windows haha.

Thanks guys. Leaning this direction. Time to whip out my wife's clothes steamer (actually worked pretty good on my e36 track car...melts the glue right off)

Sorry to disagree with the the previous posts. I go for the tint. All my cars are tinted, the GT3, 928GT, and the F150. Looks more menacing to me. Love the look and, in addition, keeps the car cooler in the summer and reduces UV issues re the interior wear. And, I get get complements on the 6/3 and the 928.
However, be aware, obviously, of state laws re tinting. Michigan law has an exemption for it, if the owner has had medical issues, me, and will allow it, provided documentation is provided during car stop by law enforcement.
I've been stopped numerous times, in all three vehicles, provide the letter from my PCP, and leave without a ticket.
Yet, I understand the preference for clear windows as well. Individual preference. Great forum and members!
