Default WTB: Porsche 996 GT3

Hi guys. I recently sold my 993 and I’m looking for a nice 996 GT3 as my next Porsche. I am open to any car if you are thinking of selling.

I will consider all colors, but my top 3 would be Carrera White, Speed Yellow, and Guards Red in that order. No accident or paintwork cars with maintenance records would be ideal. Mileage isn’t a huge concern if it has been maintained well. Coolant line pinning/welding and LSD receipts would be a plus. As would a clean DME report.

I am located in Chicago, IL so something nearby would be great, however I would be willing to travel for the right car. Please PM with any leads or if you have a car you would like to sell.

Thanks!

White and yellow should easier than red to find. The red 996 GT3's are the rarest of the bunch.

smart man.
my 993 was a very good car, but the GT3 is better in most every way, (not the instrument panel though............................)

Yellow is good, white might be better,

Check out http://www.switchcars.com/ Doug may still have that very clean and fine example of a yellow 6 GT3.

That's good to hear. It was hard to find a car that I thought I would like more than a 993, but the 996 GT3 seems to be exactly what I'm looking.

Good looking cars btw!

I actually called on that car the other day and they already had taken a deposit on it. If not, I would've been heading to Ohio this weekend. Thanks for the lead!

I know of a really nice white one for sale but it may be a little more track oriented than you are looking for.

I'll send you a PM.

What's the story on the gray and black ones you posted on Instagram? just tucked away hiding between your tire stash?

Oh wow! I don't blame you for hanging onto it! Like you the 996 GT3 is my sweet spot and always thinking of getting another one. I will try and resist a tad longer....
