I bought and installed the TRW pads from ECS on my 997TT. So far so good, did more them 100 miles and 0 problems so far.

Pads are identical the oem that I was using..

https://www.ecstuning.com/ES2581428/

I don't think ECS would sell this as PCCB Pads if they were not for it..

I've seen this information on other sites after I had bought and installed TRW pads, trusting only on ECS information.

What I don't understand is why they are working like oem on my car? My car brakes like it should brake and it there is no scratch or damage to the rotors at all..

All sites in the UK seem to say not for PCCB. I even contacted TRW in Germany and the same.

No idea!...

Default Some TRW Pads are PCCB, but not all.

What Model or Part Number are you referring to? There are apparently PCCB and non-PCCB pads.

Sorry, my question is, "What is the TRW Part Number? (for PCCB and non-PCCB pads, if available)"

Looking at the TRW online catalog, I believe it should be...

TPC0991 Front

Correct???
BUT YOU DON'T HAVE PCCB rotors. Why have you posted this information on this thread?

Thank you for your consideration.

TRW UK website also states that those pads are not for PCCB

For the record....
What is the TRW Part Number on the box your pads came in?

Regarding your question "...why are they working like oem...?"
Answer: Only hard or extended use of non-PCCB pads will damage PCCB rotors.

Not to hijack this thread, but has anyone used these Akebono pads with PCCB rotors? I contacted ECS and they didn't have an answer for me last night (might have one by next week, they said).

They're listed as being "Only for vehicles with PCCB brakes (yellow calipers)" but I don't know whether this means they simply fit the calipers or that they are compatible with the ceramic rotors.

As a follow up to my post above, I received confirmation from ECS as well as two other suppliers of the Akebono pads linked above, and all three said these Akebono pads ARE compatible with PCCB brakes, including ceramic rotors. I'll try to remember to update the thread once I put them in and try them out.
