^^^ perfect thank you for that info and the pics! The tool kit/false floor was handed to me in a box of other spare parts so I had no idea what went where.

US car. Mine looks the same as yours but I'm not the original owner. When I saw the earlier posted picture I thought I was missing the safety triangle, pressure gauge and first aid kit but didn't consider that the contents could be different by country. Any original USA owners please post a list or picture?

Right, North America specification cars have different 'kit'. I will double check but the contents in SJJ28's photo look right.

Not shown in that photo

- wheel lock socket (an adapter for the anti-theft splined wheel bolts)

I think that might be the socket behind the screwdriver handle.

there's a space where a wheel lock key could go, I guess, or its just for your finger to access the screwdriver...you may just be seeing a reflection..

My car has the wheel bolt locks and that is where the socket is stored.

In situ

Above is with the false floor in-situ. Note the "cut-out" in the front to allow easy removal and where the foam insert is just visible. The curved part of the false floor fits snugly against the curved front corner of the compartment. You'll note the luggage compartment lip is NOT visible as the false floor is resting on it.

Above image with the false floor removed to show orientation when in-situ. Note front corners are curved and rear corners are more like cut-off angles.

Hope this helps!
I'm resurrecting a old post.. any idea on the part number for this carpet cover? and also for the trunk carpet trim.. I can't find the schematics that show the parts.

You should store that socket in the center console.

I'm checking my parts schematic now and I assume you are looking for the normal GT3 black trunk carpet.

Looks like the very front lining where the trunk escape handle is located is: 996 551 045 11 A31 (black) front cover - Porsche; trunk trim panel, lining black. Available from Porsche and there is one on ebay as of 31 Oct 2023

Rear section lining over fuel cell is: 996 551 051 22 A32 (black) rear cover - Porsche; trunk trim panel, lining black; trunk front cover. Available from Porsche and there is one on ebay as of 31 Oct 2023

Tool Tray Cover/Panel: part number ?
