Guards no longer providing lsd rebuild service
Looks like they don't do this anymore. Who else should I send my diff to to get it rebuilt? Let me know if anyone has any suggestions.

Per a recent thread, you have to use one of their Authorized Dealers...

Sherman,
This has been the case for nearly two years. I spoke to SCGC this morning and told them I can send them the parts to do this in house. There is no compelling reason to ship your LSD to me, spend hundreds extra on shipping, and have your car in their facility for a week.
Any Porsche mechanic who has ever rebuilt an old ZF LSD can rebuild the modern gkn LSD with my internals. The factory service manual has instructions. I don't bless these lsds. I just manufacture the parts that make them work right. And that won't be changing any time soon.
Regards,
Matt

Got it. I guess I had mine rebuilt by you guys right before you guys stopped doing it in house. Good to know. I'll figure out the next steps with them.

Just a slight shift of business model is all, not handling retail business and focusing on wholesale. Matt & crew still make a whopping good product and will have my money for future rebuilds. Huge confidence booster to know (and be able to speak with) the people actually making these gears and plates, as opposed to just looking at some Hollinger or PMNA part with nothing more than a part number...
