GT3 seats or not opinion...
Hi guys,
I have a 6gt3 as a third car that I use just for fun weekend drives. I'm debating on getting gt3 seats but I'm hesitant as I'm 6'5 225lbs. Anyone here taller and have gt3 seats? Will i regret my decision to buy and install seats? I realize this is subjective but I thought maybe some of you have the seats and are on the taller side.
Thanks!

I'm similar size to you and have spent a lot of time in 6.3 bucket seats.
They are a bit tight, but it works.
It won't be ideal if you plan to track your car with 6point harness. The openings in back of the seat will be a bit to low even if you remove the seat cushion.
I have the 6.3 buckets in my 993tt with 3 point belt and Sparcos in my 6.3 track car.

Three Wheelin'
I'm 6/4 230 and fit ok. I do take the bottom cushions out when driving on track so I can see the tachometer and really feel the car.

Thanks 4.0! Another concern is my head hitting the roof. Does the gt3 seat sit higher than the stock seats? I don't have much room to spare. I can't wear a helmet with the height of the Stock seats to give you some perspective. I don't plan to track it but don't want to buy seats only to find out my head hits the ceiling lol. Thanks for your input

Agree with the other comments. 6'4" 210 and I fit well in mine. The slots for the shoulder belts are too low at my height.
Plenty of head room, no complaint there. I did add the steering column extension which is a nice to have. I can get good leg room and have the wheel where it should be. Without it I felt like I really had to reach for the wheel. FWIW, I have an RSS bar in my car.

I also have RECARO seats, roll bar, and a 6 point harness.

I despise GT3 bucket seats of any sort
No room for the back side of my helmet which forces my head forward in an uncomfortable position
I'm only 5'9" so maybe my head is too low but if I buy another porsche with them they will be the 1st things I sell.

6'4" here. I have the Brey Krause lowered seat mounts and have a lot of headroom. Even more legroom! I did also add a steering wheel spacer and have the center console delete.
