JRZ RS dampers - do I need new top hats / top mounts?

Having started tracking with fwd cars I really hate understeer. No wonder my buddies who driven my old 6 say it's way too loose. Anyway caveat emptor- my best laptimes has always been on oversteering cars. At thill I can do 1:58 with full soft front and full stiff rear 2:01 if full stiff front full soft rear. Mike

Three Wheelin'
Great discussion! I can see why the Pros would set a car up in such a manner (makes sense): They are "masters" of the brake pedal. They slow 'just enough' and are back on the gas with very little delay but more importantly with very little loss of momentum. The problem mere mortals face (not the guys here ) is not overslowing entry while 'TB/Bending' the car. Being able to jump the gas early is not the 'tell'; better speed thru all three aspects/portions of the corner is. Really, data is the only way to confirm one's technique. They say the middle pedal is hardest to master... Good stuff and thread!

I don't have an answer for that, but I ended up getting JRZ top hats for both front and rear. Given my usage, I think it will last me the life time of the car!
The stock (front) and aftermarket (rear) monoball top hats that I removed from the car are still tight with no play at all!
