I'm very happy to report that the car is now in my garage. It looks so beautiful gleaming in speed yellow. The condition of this car is truly magnificent. I just spent $3200 at my Porsche Centre to get the suspension swapped back to stock, and likewise the exhaust. I also asked for a full service and have all fluid changed including Castrol CRF. So now its how it was when it was first sold.

When I was waiting for the car at Porsche Centre, the GM came up to have a chat to me as I've bought many cars from them and he knows me. I told him about my latest acquisition, and he was very pleased! He said the tech who worked on the car asked him to look at the car, and showed him how pristine everything was when the bumper was off and up on the hoist. He was very pleased that it was me who owns this car. Then he said I have a moral dilemma now. Do I drive it hard on track etc given its a GT3, or do I preserve it for future generations because it is immaculate. I wished he didn't say that because now I feel guilty for wanting to use this car very very hard!

Here's a photo of the yellow bird at home and at my local Porsche Centre. Finally.

Thank you all! Here is a video I took on day 1 before I removed the after market exhaust. Regret it a little as it now sounds pretty ordinary. But on the plus side, it no longer drones!

Congratulations mate, looks amazing. I hope to see the car on the streets of Adelaide (and out at Mallala) sometime soon. Do you go to the PCSA sprints?

I purchased a 4000 mile 05 gt3 2 years ago and was concerned about tracking the car with so few miles in 8 years. Two years and 4000 track miles later, the car was perfect. Did get a RMS leak but was repaired under warranty.

Good luck and great car!

If you're looking for a better exhaust sound without the drone, I recommend the Cargraphic units.

Car was from Adelaide, but I'm actually in Melbourne.
