GT3 euro seats
Hi guys,
I've got a pair of GT3 euro seats however the leather is a bit old and wore out. I would like to ask if anyone here got the whole cover replaced before? I've looked literally everywhere but couldn't find any website which carries them. Is there anywhere else I can order the cover and the cushions besides the stealer? I know I can get them re-upholstery locally but I would like to know if there's any easier way to just buy the covers and DIY them myself. Thanks guys!

Had my inserts done locally. Alcantara, total cost was $700. I really like the look and the feel.
note: the color is silver, flash makes it look lighter than it is....

I once had two sets of GT3 seats...one had carbon fiber shells and the other had nicer leather. I tried to switch the better leather to the carbon shells. You would think it would be simple...turned into a nightmare...the leather must be cut and fit to the shells...no way the swap was going to work...I put them back to original (fit great and easy). Then I had a local mobile leather repair come by and touch them up with a spray-on dye - worked great.
Point is...you'll be hard pressed to find replacement leather or fabric that fits the shells.
Cheers,

Does anyone here have any first-hand experience with Rotec’s reproduction of the GT3 euro bucket ( http://rotteccarbon.com/seat.php )? They list a price of $1500/pr for the leather version with CF shell, and that includes the sliders and side mounts. Prices for the OEM version of these seats have gotten ridiculous lately.

I’d still appreciate hearing from others who’ve seen the seat firsthand and can comment on fitment vs. OEM, overall quality of materials, etc.

I'm with Dell on this one... Don't cut costs on seats, belts, or helmets. Anything safety related should be top notch...
Dell - haven't you flipped the Rennlist odometer twice already? Aren't you upwards of 50,000 posts???
