Default Alcantara color code?

Anyone know the color code that Porsche uses for the GT3 interior bits for the Alcantara (suede) material? I got 6 samples from Gulf Fabrics importer of Alcantara and none of them matched the factory color. Does Porsche use some custom color?

On a different forum, someone mentioned all the OEMs use some other material with a cutesy name that I can't remember, but I doubt that is the case since Alcantara is a brand name.

Ultrasuede

Another reason for not liking Alcantara - it isn't the top of the range product.

I remember back in the 70's when people thought ultrasuede jackets were better than real suede.

I'm still getting the ultrasuede wheel in the GT-3 though...

I have one of those jackets. It is now vintage.

Sorry, in retrospect, I worded the question poorly. I was looking for the Alcantara code for the color that Porsche uses. It is a 4-digit code. Your reply does give me another idea. I wonder if Porsche sells bulk interior A14 "leather". I think I might have seen that somewhere.

I have the GT3 RS Alcantara steering wheel and gear shift and like them a lot and they are holding up reasonably well. I am thinking of doing door pulls, brake handle, and GT3 seat inserts.

Loren posted that 4.5 years ago just a few posts above you.
