Default Durametric

Hello,

I got the durametric tool today. Had some fun driving around for a bit and recording some live data.

I was also happy that my car has 0 harmful over-revs.

Looks like my cam deviations are ok. They don't seem to change even when driving around at different engine speeds.

Over revs are good for the car

I have 111 level 1s. 0 level 2s. I guess I better get busy.

Yes, cam deviations should be solid during a run. They may change slightly across runs and that's normal too.

Not a big fan of bouncing off the limiter. High revs from time to time is good for the engine though (as long as the engine is fully warmed up).

Agreed. My engine has very few ignition 1s given the 2834 total hours. I don't go over 3500 until warm and then most of my shifts are 4500 with a few about 5k. I am in 5th gear more than 6th when cruising. Just feels wrong to be at 2500rpm on highway. If not accelerating, I suppose 6th gear is ok.

The big missing data for Durametric is "Expected Values" . Trying to find the upper and lower limits for any specific factor is very difficult without the (no longer available) M96-specific OBD2 guide.
