changing 996 key head to 997
I like the way the 997 key looks.. my current 2 996 keys aren't recognizing my car anymore, I have to get them reprogrammed. How can I change them out to the 997 key heads? I figure now's the time to do it before i pay for the programming.

There is limited info on the programming of a 997 key for a 996 that I could find. It does appear however that a few people have done it.
Question would be if your dealership say its not possible would you still ask them to try?
