Beautiful C4S! Why are there so few of these colors in the US?

I have never understood the desire for a gray, silver, black car. It's not an effing Bentley, it's a Porsche. That color is fantastic. When my kids graduated college I got them a bright orange Prius. At first, they scoffed(but thanked me very much), now they understand, it's a bit iconic, and both of them love the color.

The color is called Zanzibar, it was on the palette from 2001-2003 IIRC. It didn't sell well, not sure why as its a spectacular color. I actually am selling a PTS 2011 GT3RS in Zanzibar, amazing color!

Gorgeous color. I agree with doc; I've always wanted my 911s to have some color. I know that some people like black, silver and gray. That's fine. There are also people who buy gray cars because they are afraid to buy another color due to resale concerns. I don't understand this logic....

Your guess is as good as mine.
I've scoured the internet trying to find something I like in my price range in atlas grey, malachite green, or dark teal metallic. Nearly impossible, they're all grey or silver.
I'd guess the people that are buying NEW Porsches are satisfied with the greyscale cars the dealer orders, or don't care to order something more unusual themselves

Yep. Guards red is pretty nice. There's a nice depth to the tint if the car's been kept out of the sun. When they start to fade, it looks pretty bad, but if it's good paint(most Porsches are pretty good qual), the red is sweet.

My 2000 is Ocean Blue. I get asked if it is custom paint all the time. Looks like the DuPont change color paint going from shade to sunlight.

that is a beautiful color. My dream color was lapis blue, but I settled on a black '99 c2 because it was in great condition. There simply wasn't alot of color selection other than the grey scale when I was looking.
