The answer is two. I "need" exactly 2. And no, I didn't tell the wife I bid on it.

I'm betting on the come. If Jake says 12k on the high end, he hates to be wrong so there's a good change it's much much less. A 40ae is worth 30k and the Raby adds 10k to the value.

Damn, I'll most likely bid on it if I didn't already have 2 - both Silver

So what you are saying is that you can't count?

Silver one in avatar.
White one with track damage.
One in GA waiting for its Raby motor.

Exactly, quite a few people don't understand the concept of expectation. [ probability * max cost + probability * range of other costs ] - expectation among overlapping costs = much less than $12k.

I suppose that's why casinos exist...

I really need a a 40th AE. If I wasn't swimming in 993 costs, I'd be all over this.

This could be a good pick up Slakker. Just try to keep the bleeder valves closed

Tell ya what, you buy this AE and I'll pay you the final bid price to take that 993 off your hands. Problem solved

I've seen that blue in person, gorgeous color

Maybe I'm wrong, it is hard to keep track with that guy. I thought the silver and FSI cars were different and he's planning to let go of the silver one when the other car is done.

Depends on the build but max hp will be under that. But it's the torque and additional hp throughout that make them so much quicker.

Check out some of the dyno graphs Jake has posted Moe, he talks through it in detail. Pretty cool stuff.
