997 sway bars on a 996?
I am looking for sway bars and came across a great deal for a set of 997.2 gt3 sway bars. The seller says they will fit a 996.1 C2 with no issues. Is that true?

My understanding is they won't. Has to be a 996.

Just to clarify, the 996 GT3 sway bars are the ones you want.

I put the H&R's (3 hole adjustable) on my C4 a short time ago (regular sways are the M030). It's now very flat through corners, albeit a bit harsher on bumpy roads. FWIW, I'm ok with the trade-off at least for the time being. I'll make a final judgement after I drive it more over the spring/summer season.

This is what I went with, although my info has the rear at 22mm, hollow adjustable. I'm 100% happy with it for a 70/30 street/track car, along with Eibach Pro-Kit springs and Bilsteins. I have the rear bar on the middle stiffness setting for now; I think going full stiff might make the car struggle to put down power leaving slower corners since I don't have an LSD. I'm sure the track nuts will pooh-pooh the setup but it works for me.

The number one most important thing with a car setup is that it gives the driver confidence.

ECS has them(H&R adjustable) for $561 w/free shipping (mine's a C4 so price may vary)...
