Very nice! Congratulations, loving that color. The paint looks to be in pretty good condition. I'd hit it with some of the spray I linked below after you wash it to keep that shine in the paint and to help protect it. It's super easy, just spray on while it's still wet and then wipe it dry. I use this stuff religiously! Anyways, I'm sure you don't need me to tell you to enjoy it as I'm sure you already are. If you ever need anything please don't hesitate to let me know.

I've heard that's good stuff, I'll pick up a bottle soon. It's undergoing a full detail this Saturday, after that, I'll definitely want to maintain the shine. The car is actually in outstanding condition—the paint is almost flawless as well as the interior. It's pretty mind-blowing, I haven't ever seen another 996 in this good of shape. I lucked out with this one!

Re: selling the Boxster: That's my ONLY regret about buying my 996. I'm happy I didn't go with a 996 cab, but I miss having the Boxster around...should have kept both. Of course, my '03 986 wasn't worth that much; your Boxster might be.

My Boxster is 1997 model, first year for US. I think it's a great car, but it needs some work. Nothing mechanical, it runs and drives great! Needs things like a new top, front suspension, door locks, drivers door latch, the frunk has a leak, and the paint is pretty tired. But it's the most reliable car I've ever owned! I'll clean it up a bit and put it up for sale this summer. I'm actually not a fan of convertibles, just not my thing. Even though I love the Boxster.

Only wish 986S had the 996 or more power , I thought the Boxster S handling was better myself. It handled like a scalpel. When I did lose it a couple of times, it stayed on the road.
