Carrera II's are 20/22lbs. I think Carrera III are several lbs heavier.

This is a timely post. Replacing the 18" twists on my car is going to be high on the todo list once the maintenance items are complete.

Right now the MY02 wheels are highest on the list, but have been off and on searching for other alternatives. OZ Alleggerita wheels are 18lbs/19lbs F/R, so lighter than MY02s, and reasonably priced. Not a big fan of the look, though.

From a previous thread on this topic:

I like the Allegrita's as well. Just picked up a cheap set of 8.5"F/12"R for some experimentation.

So I guess GT3 vs 5 spoke Carrera IIs:

Front:
(8.5") 11.43 kgs vs. (8") 9.3 kg

Rear:
(11") 12.92 kgs vs (10") 10.3 kg

By looking at the backside of them. But I don't think the hollow spokes are available in narrow body fitment for the rears.

HI there sir,

Yes, they are available for narrow body (HOLLOW), we do stock at least one set.

Also the 996-Turbo twist is a design is available for narrow body (we have one set of those also in-stock) however I don't recall ever seeing a set of narrow hollow 996-Turbo design.

Are you looking for an 18" option only?

We are limited in stock right now but the 18" RS-808 (Satin black) is a good consideration.

18-lbs front
19-lbs rear

An other option is the GT3 Replica wheels. . . .

These are still lighter than the solid spoke wist wheels.

"ONE SET ONLY AT THIS PRICE, SHIPPING $150 TO MOST LOCATIONS IN THE USA"
