I'm registered. The event was a lot of fun last year. Terrific showing of cars old and new.

Looks like a blast... I wish I could come, but too far to drive down for this Ga boy.

But love that part of Florida... My mom was born in Miami and so it's in my blood. ha!

Cool.

I just had some work done on my 911 and asked the guys at the shop if they knew anything about this event. They said it was a great event and very worth while attending. They told me to register my car and enter it in the show. They said that way you get to park inside the event and get 2 VIP passes. I was surprised cause I just have a bone stock, silver on black 1999 C2 Cab. I didn't want to be embarrassed entering it, it is by no means a show car. So I called and just spoke with the founder of the event today. He said absolutely enter it, that it is all about getting car people together, the more cars registered the better. Even though there will be million dollars cars there.

So instead of just attending and probably paying $20 to park nearby or having to park far away and walk, for $45 I guess my car will registered and in the show area.

Before i get ahead of myself. Did you guys register to attend or register to attend and enter your car in the show? It costs $45 either way. However, if you enter your car you get a second VIP pass for the passenger and your car is parked in the show area.

I'm entering my "nothing special, factory stock arctic silver 1999 C2 Cab. because the founder of the show encouraged me to. Mine may win the "Most Boring, Absolutely Average, Least Interesting" award. If so, I will cherish it!!!

The event is free to walk around. I entered my car in event and i got two vip passes. Those alone are worth $90.
I don't expect to win anything but just for fun and be among the other 996s.

OK, with Dpazos' confirmation that his car is entered, as is mine, we officially have two Rennlist 996's entered in; class 9(1999-2004, 996s naturally aspirated) at DRT.

Rah Rah! Go Team...

Make that at least 4 RL 996s. I registered last week to make sure I got a good parking spot. Judging from previous years' photos, it looks like a hoot. I'll bring the 6GT3. The Werewife can't drive a stick, so the C2 will stay home, sobbing in the driveway.

I posted this in the Florida region area, too.

Magnus will be there so I have to make sure the car is pretty for his Dreadlockness.
