Default Transmission Issues

Ok, reverse seems to work and I think first is working. Or at least it is a forward gear. Instead of neutral I have a higher gear. Shifter cable issue?

Easy to check cable linkage - jack up passenger side of car and remove rear wheel - make sure supported on jack stand - but easy to crawl under there to see shift linkage at transmission - I used jack handle to push rubber cable connector back into linkage ....

A little more background. I just had the transmission serviced, new LSD, and I just put it back in. So linkage is connected but I'm guessing it's a little off even though I didn't mess with it while the transmission was out. Just not sure how to go about fixing it.

Or I guess it's possible Gbox messed something up while servicing it but I'm more inclined to believe the problem is on my end.

Does it shift without the engine running? If yes, then it might be the PP. We had an instance of that. It would shift without the engine running, but not when running, turned out a pair of fingers were cracked on the outer perimeter of the spring plate. You could just see two fingers out of place at the TO bearing.

Only shifts into a few gears whether running or not. Can't find neutral even with it off. Wheels do spin freely with clutch pushed in though.

Disconnected cables. With forward mechanism seems to be the main selector as hit has three solid positions. None of the positions allow the wheels to spin.

Can you put it in one of the positions where the wheels don't move, cables disconnected and then start car and see if the clutch operates and the wheels slow down?

Its been my experience you really can't get the cables wrong. Just guessing, could the cable brackets on the side of the trans be swapped?

Oops, just reread your last post, seems like the clutch is working.

I did double checked the cable brackets against the before pic yo verify they were correct.

Ok, it's weird. It actually does go into neutral, kinda. If I let out on the clutch pretty quickly with it in neutral it will stand still and idle for 3-4 seconds then the engine dies. If I'm moving in gear, and push the clutch in, the car almost stops on its own, even to the point of bouncing against itself. It's like something is bound up inside. Could it just be the new differential is really stiff?

I would assume they adjusted the backlash and the meshing of the gears, so stiff shouldn't be an issue or it would tear itself up. Is there lube in it?

I put fresh motul gear 300 in it. Pulled it out on the driveway and it's not right. Backed it back on the lift and will call Gbox tomorrow. Going to prep my silver car and take it to the track tomorrow just to scratch the itch.
