That's awesome.

We have another storm coming in this weekend... I'm hoping that's it for this season. Mud slides, sink holes, floods, road closures. This is getting ridiculous.

That reminds me I gotta see the glory hole while it's full! Heading up there right NOW.

Where is that big road wash out? Hopefully not between here and there. I'm thinking 101 > 37 > 121 >128 and then charge toward Pope Valley/Berryessa from there.

If history tells us anything we should be seeing this type of rain right on up through March and touching into April... at least that's what every Steinbeck book I ever read talked about.

😉

I too live here in NO CA and will say that our hwys are all screwed up due to these rains, large pot holes in all hyws, will not drive my car on any of them for awhile until they get them fixed. 680 and 880 are the worst.

Darn it! Washed "Froggy" last night, even the POWERPLANT - but had to get to the lake and see that HOLE!

I brought Maggie along so she could shed in the wind for a few hours (I love getting blown fur between my eyeballs and sunglasses while I'm hustling down winding country roads).

Yes a fair amount of pot holes but the newly resurfaced stretches along the lake and through the trees are epic. Guess I'll just have to wash ol Froggy again...

Awesome pictures Comanche. The washed out highway is on HWY 3 here in the Santa Cruz mountains.
