Should be fine - PLA can soften a little when it gets really hot during summer, but not enough to cause an issue for your adapter rings. I don't have a heated build plate, so I don't mess with ABS.

I have a heated one but I only have not messed with it either, so far I have not had a need but I may end up needing to do it for the doors with the subs, we will see

i used the free one that came from crutchfield Metra 40-VW12 Antenna Adapter
