Not sure of the exact price point. This is the company I went through. Talk to Tom for a package deal. http://www.bestradardetectors.net/Laser-Protection.html

Good idea. TMF2 (n/k/a Junk Fighter) does help with false alerts but to make it a great RD get a dedicated Android phone (with no service - its GPS (for app) and wireless (Play Store) will still work) ) and install YaV1 app.

Transforms the V1.

Just glad I had my Escort Redline last night. Went for a nice 1 hour drive and it saved my butt 4 times. I couldn't believe how many cops were out running radar on a Tues night. 2 of the cops were within a 5 mile radius. Ouch. And we all know driving these cars at 55 mph feels like you're standing still. On the way back, I was driving on a country road listening to the radio and thought it felt like I was only going 40ish mph, but looked down at the speedometer and it said 65 mph. hahahaha!

How did you mount this without suction cups? Is this possible in a 991? I like this look better than the rear view mount

The special mount comes with 3M industrial double stick tape. Holds stronger than any suction cup. You can get the special mounts for your radar detector on Amazon or eBay. Should have no problem mounting on a 991.

This thread has been incredibly helpful. I am a new Porsche owner and new to these forums. I wasn't even considering a radar detector until I stumbled upon this thread! Thanks for the advice and contribution b3freak.

I just ordered my 2nd V1 for my 911 (the other stays in my other car). I am trying to figure out where to stealth mount the concealed display. I do not like the visibility of the concealed display on the steering column. Has anyone put it anywhere else?

Uniden R3. However Lots of state cops use laser making the detector pretty useless. It has saved me driving through town with local cops using Constent on Ka
