I'm soon going to a track day - first one in my C4S
I'm 6' 4" and my head touches the roof (has a sunroof, unfortunately) even without a helmet, so I'm wondering how other tall folks have solved this issue?
- Lowering the current seat? Is that feasible?
- Install aftermarket? If so, any suggestions given my physiology?
- GT3 ($$) seat?

I'm only 6'1" and have to slouch with a helmet on. Still the nice alcantara headliner in these gets mashed down by helmet bumps very easily and needs brushed or something to touch it up.

I'm pretty sure there was a lowered seat option from porsche (XSU), but the altered rails and mounts I've looked at have been too expensive for me to justify. You can get an aftermarket seat and bolt it right to the floor but that's $$$.

Also try/consider other helmets. Not all are the same profile, and will allow more headroom.

Yep, my car has the "lower seat" option. Can you believe Porsche actually has that as an option? Well, the original owner paid for it and I'm thankful because I'm 6'3 and I hate having to recline the seat way back when I'm in a car.
