I hate Starbucks coffee. Granted, millions upon millions of people clearly enjoy their coffee, I just don't get it. The just straight up Starbucks coffee tastes horrible to me. Burnt and bitter. Strong coffee can be smooth, but not from Starbucks. The reason for the burnt and bitter taste is because Starbucks roasts their beans at extra high heat to get the job done as fast as possible. I can't blame them since there are so many stores to stock.

I agree; Starbucks coffee tastes bad. I prefer to go to one of the independent coffee shops near my house.
