Can anyone advise on a replacement front windshield cost and company in the Litchfield, North Fairfield County Connecticut area (Kent, New Milford, Sherman) for a 2001 996?

whatever you do try like hell to get oem glass - my C4S had windshield replaced by insurance co. for large rock chip last year by PO and it is original glass - $1200 cost to replace

Dealing with this now. Specify you want oem glass. My windshield has the antenna in it and the safelite version does not have this.

Just had Safelite do mine. They use Pinkerton glass and it has the antenna. Biggest issue was getting BOTH correct seals from the dealer, once they had that, they did a great job. All covered by insurance so no idea of price.

Had mine done a few months ago. Factory glass and new seal. Insurance cost through safelite was a tad over 900.00. No cost to me.

Had mine done by a highly rated local indie glass shop when I first got it. Didn't know any better. Cost me $380 and I haven't had a bit of trouble with it.

Just had it replacement done on my Boxster through my insurance. I had Safelite do it with OEM glass.
It was $938 including all the trim pieces. I just paid my deductable
