In my search for an all around solution for my stereo system I came about this made by Porsche Classic.

What do you guys think of it for a replacement of my CDR-210-

According to Porsche, it won't work in the 996. Personally, I like the way it looks and the function, but really not trying to spend 1200 for a maybe.

While we're on the subject of upgrades: Anyone heard of an 'IMS bearing'?
I've heard the 996 has problems with it.
Any opinions in that regard? I dunno, maybe it even deserves its own discussion forum.
