spring changeover
Oil change - btw I bought a new oil filter housing (came with filter) given that it's seen many years of heat cycling I figured bypass valve may be tired
Decided to paint calipers
Changeover to summer tire and wheels

You northern guys crack me up with two sets of tires... us southern dudes just keep one set on all year around unless we take it to the track.
Like the Carrera III wheels are they the same as the older Carrera II? that is 18x8 50ET front and 18x10 65ET back?

Actually I was kidding but now looking at the pics on my desktop, they sort of do look like it. Anywho, you can always redo it whenever you feel the need to. I usually recommend waiting 24-48 hours and heat cycling the calipers a few times to harden and cure the paint. This way at least, you can always remove the decals if you mess up without the paint coming off with it. Unfortunately, I think your paint is permanently stuck to your decals since you applied them before it cured?

Alpine, good thinking on waiting for decal application, I might take that advice.
BTW, I am going to go non-traditional and get the Tangerine- Orange color and also do skid plate and tie downs same color

Another tip is if you spread it on thin or if you go the Duplicolor/VHT spray route, you'll still be able to see the original PORSCHE logo above the new paint after it has cured. This allows you to get a reference point when applying the new decals. I would locate the raised letters and put masking tape at the bottom
and to the left to set reference markers.
