PPI in Milwaukee
So.....the search continues and is now in the Milwaukee area. Looking at a nice 2001 C2, 45K miles, good history. Can any of you suggest a good indy (or dealer?) for a quality PPI? AFAIK, it has the original IMSB, and has had regular annual services.
TIA for your suggestions.

Thanks Nitro, I'll check them out. Won't be getting up there myself till the first week in April. If things lighten up a bit for you before then, please let me know. I'd love another set of independent eyes to take a look.
Any other suggestions are much appreciated.

Great minds and all that..... Already talking to Chris over at CS.Motorsports. Just looking for an alternative in case he's busy or unavailable. Thanks for the heads up on Concourse.

If the car is in southern/southwestern Milwaukee, Fischer Motors is a well regarded indy in the northwestern Chicago suburbs. Not all that far from Milwaukee, in case you can't find a good spot up there. Thus far I've only read about Fischer on Rennlist but I have a PPI scheduled with them on Friday and can report on my experience.

Update based on my experience:
I thought they did a great job. The facility looks/feels excellent, the staff was polite and seemed knowledgeable, they explained everything well and sent an email copy of the report exactly when they said they would. The car's owner got it to their shop 1.5 hours late but they didn't mind, they started the inspection as soon as it arrived. I had a PPI done previously in the week at another indy and while both seemed equally thorough, Fischer was more polite and communicated better.
Doesn't hurt that the car passed their inspection and I bought it. :-)

Milwaukee PPI
Hi there. A good friend works at O'Reilly Motorcars a bit north of Milwaukee downtown on Cherry Street. I would trust him to do a PPI on a Porsche. If you need another set of eyes to check it out, I am happy to do so.

Thanks Karl and Sequel. I spoke with Nick at Fischer and is a great guy and the shop sounds very capable. They are about 2 hours drive away so that may not work.
Also, I did get with Chris at CS Motorsports, and they also are on my list. Close by and sound like real Porsche guys with a performance background.
I will check out OReilly as well, thanks.

Adding one more resource to this list. European Auto Haus in Mequon. Ive had them do work on my 928 and 996. They also did a PPI on my 996. One of the owners, Nathaniel, went to NY recently to do a PPI on a 959. Incidentally, before I found them, I went to CS Motorsports to work on my 928. I was never impressed.
