Default Diagram of 996 Seats / Parts

Hey Guys, I have a pair of 996 GT3 Hardback Sport seats, they are full power. I am mounting them into my 993 and have purchased the Brey-Krause adapters (http://www.bkauto.com/R_9043_996_Sli...r_p/r-9043.htm) but for me they leave the seat sitting too high and too far forward for comfort.

I know most guys who do this install use the same reference (https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...stall-diy.html) but since my GT3 996 seats are full power (front to back powered also) I cannot utilize that mounting method since there is a solid geared rail running all the way back in the seat rails. That is what necessitates the Brey-Krause adapter kit.

I am thinking about purchasing some manual sliders to replace the full power set-up in my seats, has anyone else done this or come up with another solution? Thanks......Mark.

I have some faux GT3 seats from my 996. I bought side mounts and added some used manual sliders from Oklahoma Foreign about 4 years ago. I had to modify the side mounts in order the top of the sliders to clear. They work great! If you are interested I can get some pics to you so you can see it first hand.

Thanks Sneaky Pete, I'd love to see the pictures.

I really want to make these seats work out in my 993 since they are very comfortable and literally like new with under 1k miles usage.
