Battery replaced, went from size H6 (48) to H8 (49)
Mostly because of price.....no brainier, I also had a 25 dollar gift card from Autozone.
The original battery was in there for 7 years, and was showing signs of weakness at startup.
The H6 (46) : $161.99 CCA 730A
The H7 (47/94R) : $181.99 CCA 790A
The H8 (49) : $152.99 CCA 900A
I just added a nut under the battery tray, since the last hole is not threaded.
Strangely, the AGM's (Platinum line) had less warranty (3 years) than the Lead Acid (Gold line - 5 years).
Interestingly, the voltmeter on the dash now goes to 14V during start up (and remains there for several minutes), then it goes just under it.
It never got close to the 14V line before, even 5 years ago with the old battery.

I'm headed the other direction (lighter weight). The last time I lifted that heavy battery out of its spot, it just didn't feel healthy for me old lower back. Quite a reach to be deadlifting 80 pounds or whatever it is.

I replaced my Porsche battery(Interstate) after 6 or 7 years as well. I still have an original battery on my 16 year old 21' center console boat, although there are 2 batteries.
