Default Someone Call 911 First 911 996.1 Aero/M030

I finally purchased my first 911 and I couldn't be happier, I'd like to start this thread to share my experience. Its a 2001 C2 with factory aero and sport suspension. I went with my brother to pick the car up from NJ the day after Christmas. We had a blast driving home despite the bad weather. We opted to take Skyline Drive from the start to the end, I think we saw maybe only a dozen other cars the whole time. It was a blast driving through the twisties!

my mugshot, happy to have not seen one police officer on the whole Skyline dr.

Wow looks very good. I get giddy when someone else buys a 911 for the first time b/c I know how much enjoyment it will bring you every time you see it and drive it. You will notice that it likes to be driven hard and a lot! Ride on and Happy New Year!

Thank you for the positive responses! I am very excited and grateful to have this car. I had been DD'ing my 05 Honda Element the past year and I am so pumped to be in a 911 now. I am keeping the Element because it makes me appreciate this car so much more and it is a very practical car (and the price was right for it!).

..no LSD, but I hear I should be able to wear through rear tires pretty easily without it!

Had to clean out a parking spot in the garage prior to pickup:

As part of the agreement with the selling dealer, LNS IMS was installed along with a new clutch and rear main seal. I also had a set of Fister cans put on... MOG my heart drops and hair stand on end at 6,000 RPM,

I also had some clear side marker lenses sent to the dealer along with a radar detector hard-wire and bluetooth adapter for the radio for our ride home, the dealer was very nice to work with. I was very impressed.

Well sorted car, and upgrades as well. Enjoy it man, nothing like a 911. Having the second car will always keep the new feel. I don't dd mine so anytime I drive it, it feels new.
