Escort Max 360
So, I pulled the trigger on the Escort Max 360. Has anybody else on here got one of these? The big feature with this one is the directional arrows that the Valentine One has been famous for. The patent on that has run out so Escort has rolled it out.
I just got the detector, so no major review yet, but compared to my Escort 9500ix, this thing is huge! I was really surprised by the size of it. It's not 1980 big, but significantly larger than any I've had in the last 15 years.
It came with a soft case for it, the mount and the cord. In my opinion it should have come in a hard case like my 9500ix for the money this thing costs!
I went with the Escort over the Valentine One based on reported V1 false positives and the Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) / Collision Avoidance Systems (CAS) that many cars on the road now have. Reportedly the DSP module in the Escort Max 360 deals with these much better.
As I get it setup and get some miles on it I'll post up my thoughts, but I'd love to hear what anyone else who has one thinks of this model.

I bought the Passport MAX II right before the 360 launched. Had I known, I would have waited a few more weeks. The MAX II has been very good, but I think the arrows might be mildly helpful.

I look forward to your findings. I have had a 9500ix since it was first launched and have been thinking about getting the 360.

I have a older hidden Escort SRX with laser jammers. It's saved me from radar too many times to count and at least 1x watching a laser cop look down at his gear as if to say wtf then back on target with me now barely at the limit. 😎

I was quite pleased with my 9500ix too. I did get hits from Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) / Collision Avoidance Systems (CAS) on cars I was passing, but it was an annoyance at most. My 9500ix started showing a "Remote Power Reset" message. I would reboot it and that would go away and all was good...except it no longer detected radar! So, I opted to upgrade.

I run an 8500 X50 and it works well. We have mostly k/ka band here in Nevada and it picks that up well. I am at my home in Las Vegas at the moment and for the first time it shot off a "Laser" warning. No idea what it is or what it means and didn't know it picked up that band.
