I am new to the forum, but not new to these cars.

I have a 2002 C4S with a missing seat adjustment **** on the driver's seat. Ordered what I thought was the correct replacement only to find out it is for a manual seat adjustment switch. I understand I need to order a complete switch for $400+ to get the ****.

Thread sounds like somebody has reversed engineered to fabricate a replacement or has a **** by some other means.

Any help would be appreciated. Not sure how to PM the guy identified as ER.

I was able to return the switch which was for manually adjusted seats as I needed the **** only for the electric 4-way adjustable seat. The **** I need is only sold together with the complete switch for $400+. If you need the switch for a manually adjusted seat it should still be available from Porsche since I bought it (and then returned it) within the last year. Good luck.

Thread revival! - Unlike some folks in need of the ****, I'm missing #17 pictured below which centers the **** and allows the seat to lower. I've called Porsche to find out this part is discontinued. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

I'm in the same boat with my 2016 997. Need the passenger side adjustment ****. Though upon closer inspection, it seems as though a white plastic connector piece is what actually broke.
