Correct, it's the wrong one. The one you need connects to the switch in the center, not offset like this one.

Default Power Seat Control **** - Where to find a replacement

Would it be possible to 3D print the correct part, or am I way off here?

there seem to be a lot of the boxster style seat ***** available - other than the mounting area being in a different location they look similar.

can these ***** be retrofitted to fit properly??

Came across this company who was referenced by a car owner who needed to fabricate a part (plastic) no longer being made. You will need the dimensions of the part to recreate it via 3D modeling and production. Probably worth finding others who need this part and make a bunch to differ costs.

If there's really no source for these, it wouldn't be that hard to make one - I could make a silicone mold of mine and cast a few out of resin. They might not be absolutely perfect aesthetically, but I suspect I could make them functional.

If anyone still needs one of these, let me know (and ideally take a picture of the one you need) and I'll give it a try...

You also have to remove the seat to work on any of the stuff in this control panel because the wires are all tightly tied underneath and need to be freed up enough to give you room to work behind the panel.

If you do remove the seat remember to keep the key far away so you don't mess up the air bag stuff while disconnected.

Re-energizing this thread...
Has ANYONE found a ****-only replacement for the to-fro/up-down seat adjustment switch?
Anyone pushed to have one fabricated?
thanks.

Hi Guys,

I actually gave up, junked the seats and put in 997 GT3 seats .

If anyone wants to send me one, I will reverse engineer and make a bunch in ABS or Delrin

My only one is on the driver's seat.
Worries about "stuff" interfering with gertting it back -- kinda like lending a tool to neighbor, forever.
