Those exhaust notes are interesting. It appears my car has a stock exhaust, with Fabspeed tips and a K&N cold air intake and it sounds so bad ***, so much more throaty as compared to your first video, but not like your second video.

Does the K&N actually make that much difference over the stock airbox?

Paul - YES. It's crazy!! I never believed it til I actually took my K&N system off (it rains a LOT here in the winter so I switched it back to stock til spring). I couldn't believe how quiet the car is without it.

Good for gas mileage though - with the K&N I was constantly on the gas to get to 4k RPMs every time I drove

I've never heard K&N w/ stock exhaust, but that F-D is so much bang for buck!

The K&N intake really makes a howling noise with many resonances that is passes through as it accelerates, especially when under a heavy load in 3rd or 4th gear, just sounds soooo good. And on the highway at 65 with little throttle input it's as quiet as stock. Best of both worlds in my opinion.
