It is very hard to find pictures of it....non metallic, "dark blue", code 55.
If so....post up your pictures and your thoughts of it....found one last night. Looks like an interesting color, but now that I see it's not metallic, would like to learn more.
I looked at a silver 00 C4 aero in Michigan earlier this week, had a fabspeed exhaust and chip, have to say it was very responsive, but no way could I live with that exhaust. Came to the determination that I will wait until I find a pristine example. I am really liking the 99 and 00 cars with the aero package and A LOT of options.

Yes...it's "dark blue". Here is a picture of the car....but would love to see other pictures in sun if anybody has them. It's non-metallic.
Anybody have pictures of this color in the sun?

Interesting color. I don't think I've seen that one in person. Most of the blue colors offered on the 996 were metallic paints.

It's a nice looking blue. The only caution I would have about a non-metallic dark color is that scratches, and especially swirls will show up quicker. Metallic paints seem to hide swirls a bit better in my experience.

Just picked up my 99 last week, 44k miles. I'm told it's Cobalt Blue. Looks similar to your find. I will share with you I'm a black car preference guy, but when I saw this Blue, I thought I could handle it. I love how it looks in the sun, then under clouds and nightime, it looks black. The lady at the DMV verifying the VIN asked me if I wanted to change the title color, lol.
