Body parts not known whether OEM or aftermarket. Wheels seem to be the ebay variety. MK2 rear bumper on mk1(possibly rear end accident). Taco wing present but whether it's OEM is unknown and it has regular non-Aero front bumper(possibly front end accident).

2000 Millennium Edition. He probably should describe the color better than red. I had to do some research to understand the car is violet but others probably will not do that and think it is a huge mistake and move on.

I feel for them on the wheels peeling. Ours make those look pristine though

I think they look sharp, but would probably hurt resale value?

For me, buy a Porsche based on what you like. I would say close to 90% of 996s have some level of modification. If you like a certain mod and a car you are looking at has that mod, then that car is worth more to you. My recently purchased car had a bunch of mods. I like all but two of them, and some of them were mods I was definitely going to spend money on if the car I bought didn't have them (for example, a double DIN stereo system with bluetooth). The "stock" loving guys just look down their noses at my car because of the mods. But, I plan to keep my car forever, so I don't really give a crap what they think.
My car is unique and was practically exactly the way I wanted it when I bought it. It was less expensive because it wasn't an unmolested garage queen. But, had I bought an overpriced all-stock garage queen, I would have definitely spent thousands of dollars upgrading with some tasteful mods (that I got for free when I bought my already modded car). Only a couple of more small mods and I'll be out of things to do on it.

I personally like black wheels but I have hesitated on doing it. A friend of mind liked stock so he influenced me.I might still do it because I like it. It gives a more aggressive look to a 996. What's the worse that can happen.Just find other wheels you like
