Default I MUST HAVE these wheels!

For a long time I've wanted the BBS RS-GT in diamond black - they'd look great against the seal gray but...but I think they'd be a real pain to clean. I also like the look of the GT3 spoked wheels so while looking for some of those I came across these new OZ wheels:

They come in matte black and gold also. I really like the center cap to keep dirt and gunk out of the lug nuts. So far they only come in 19" but I contacted TireRack and OZ is scheduled to start manufacturing 18" in Porsche sizes sometime in 2015.

That'll give me time to go through one more set of rears and finish off the fronts. I guess I can wait that long...

I like em!!! There was another OZ wheel I like as well. They seem like good value for the price.

I'm thinking about switching to 18's to save $ on tires. Post some pics when you have them on!

My favorite wheel of all time is the SSR GT3. It's a split 5 spoke 3 piece. I saw a recent 996 buyer on these forums had them on his car. Don't see them very often I don't think SSR makes them anymore.

The only problem with wheels that are no longer made is that if you damage one beyond repairability, finding a single replacement wheel is tough - even moreso if it's a relatively rare model/size. Sometimes "finding" is the tougher nut to crack than the "price."

The SSR knockoffs used to be all over eBay. The same reason why I didn't buy LM's. but that's just me.

Those OZ's remind me of the center lock Super Forgiatas which I thought looked good too.
