Wheel cleaning for a detail freak
So how many here remove their wheels to clean the inside? Dirty wheels drive me nuts, and my 996 appears to shed a crazy amount of brake dust. So between the brake dust and all the remnants of removed wheel weight glue I find myself getting ready to remove the wheels for cleaning and difficult task of removing that two sided tape that hold on the weights.
Does anyone here have a wax product that helps repel brake dust? I had never considered this on previous cars but this car will require something.

You should get a "Turbo Stick" Wheel Cleaning Tool from Adam's Polishes.
It does a reasonable job of cleaning the brake dust out of the inside of the wheels without removing them. It's fast and easy. I use it every time I wash my car.

The absolute best product is G-Techniq, they do a range of sealants which last up to two years. Google them and you'll see what I mean. C5 is their wheel sealant.

I use the Daytona Speed Master Wheel brush. Does a great job getting into the rims and wheel wells

I jack up each wheel so I can spin it and clean the entire wheel (and caliper)every time I wash it. Then about once a year I take each wheel off and thoroughly clean and wax with Rejex. I also switched to Hawk ceramic brake pads to reduce the dust. It seems to be helping.

I used the WheelWax for about a year but I wasn't impressed. It didn't seem to make much of a difference and since it is a wax it is a bit more time consuming to apply. However I've been very happy with Armorall's (new?) wheel protectant. It definitely helps to keep the brake dust down and it seems to last several weeks with multiple washes. Since it is a spray it is much, much easier to apply than the wax which is a big plus for me. I might not be as effective as a good wax, but since the effort is much lower I tend to use it more regularly.

Eagle One Keep Clean
This is what I use: Eagle One Keep Clean
Lasts for about two weeks and the brake dust that does stick (not much) washes right off. Makes your rims shiny too...
