Default 996 C4S Q and A ... need some advice please

So I'm in the process of "updating" per say my 2003 996 C4S, couple of questions for the forum and hoping someone knows some of the answers.

#1 will a 997 decklid cover fit on a 996 decklid? I don't like the thin "mini" vents on the 996 and would like to swap it out for something a little newer.

#2 in case #1 doesnt work, has anyone had any experience with GT2 style wings on a C4S? I see some duraflex ones on eBay, replaces the whole decklid, but it appears it will block the 3rd brake light, then I've noticed Getty Designs deck (DOUBLE the price of the Duraflex BTW) but it has the light as well. Also, Ive seen a few other decklid covers with wings that replace the "mini vent" cover, but I havent seen many pics of the TOP (where the vents are) of these, I'm thinking they are all the ones with the 2 vents, but that leaves room for error in the craftsmanship which I don't want to deal with.

Thanks for any help with these two items

I haven't personally tried to fit a 997 deck lid to a 996 C4S. That being said, I've seen the question posted before, and I believe the answer is "no, it will not fit without significant modification". Hopefully somebody who has personal experience with it will post here.

#1. No, sorry, the arc and fit points are different.
#2. Here's a pic of the Misha GTM Insert with a Carbon Fiber wing.
I've had mine up to 187. Lot's of downforce, no stability problems. But you'll need more downforce in front (I use the 996 Turbo chin spoiler)

It does look a bit compressed...

The spoiler is sweet though...
